Happy one year Gotcha Day to Padmé! 🥳
This pup was a staff and volunteer favorite while in our care and we are so happy to see she is still just as cute and doing just as well!
Here is what her owner had to say about this cutie:
"Hello! It has been one year since my adoption of Padmé (formerly Cookie), and she has been doing amazing! She loves going on hikes/walks, car rides, and especially loves meeting new people and other animals. Her favorite thing is to either lay around on the couch or hang out with her kitty friends at home. May the fourth be with you!"

Thank you again for welcoming Padmé to your home and we wish for many happy years to come! 💜

Happy Foster Friday! 🐾

This sweet girl came to the shelter as a stray. We immediately noticed she was pregnant! Momma ended up having her puppies the very next day. After making sure everyone was healthy and safe to be moved, we were able to get them all into a foster home.
This momma wasn’t very happy in the shelter, and we can’t blame her for that. Momma’s raising puppies in the shelter is never ideal due to them being in a stressful environment and around illnesses.
When we get pregnant animals, the first thing we try to do is look through our approved fosters and get them out of the shelter. If you would be interested in fostering mom and pups, pups, or expecting mommas, please fill out an application.
We appreciate our foster family so much!💜
Fostering moms and pups entails bringing them into the shelter for routine vaccines, checkups, spay/neuter, any sick visits if needed, and lastly, receiving lots of love from your fosters who are grateful to be in a home. 🥰 antietamhumanesociety.org/foster-dogs-puppies/

** We are still in need of puppy kibble. **
** This momma and pups will not be available for adoption for a period of time. So please hold off on any phone calls, applications, and inquiries. **

Do you offer the people that foster to adopt first?

What breed are the puppies

We were just playing with these guys and they are adorable. Really laid back and snuggly. Momma is doing a wonderful job. Kudos to the amazing foster home and the time they are putting into socializing and caring for the 5 of them. I think the pups are about 5 wks and they are chunky rollypolly all black with a little patch of white and very different personalities coming out.
